Bernie, Roxie, Birdie, Phoebe, and their humans Patty and Greg
What an awesome family! Patty was inquiring online for a pet photographer after Roxie was diagnosed with cancer. I received an email from Patty "Hi there, Your work was overwhelmingly recommended on FB. We have 4 dogs and I'm interested in an outdoor shot of all 4 with the 2 of us - I know - tough task to get all 4 attentive, but it would be important as 2 are getting quite old". I couldn't be more honored or humble to receive such a message.
One thing I know for sure is this job was perfect for me. 4 dog YES PLEASE!
This is Birdie, Phoebe, Roxie, and Bernie.
This is Roxie she is 12.5 yrs old and was just recently diagnosed with cancer. Why can't dogs just live forever? Roxie has been such an amazing companion her her humans. We are just so lucky to be able to share our lives with them.
This is Bernie he is an old man at the age of 14.5 yrs old he is full of wisdom! Can't you tell?
This is Birdie in her golden beauty with that soft flowing fur. Birdie is 9 yrs old and well she is just beautiful and a momma's girl!
This is Phoebe she is 4yrs old. A little hesitant at first but we left friends! Phoebe is a fun girl that absolutely loves her toys! She wants to play and have a good time! Oh yeah and she will hold a toy FOREVER!
Roxie and Bernie full of memories and wisdom. Being the old man and lady as you can tell they have been there and done that. Teaching their young siblings the way of the dog aka dealing with the humans. Which means getting treats, play, and walks oh and don't forget the LOVIN!! Dogs are that simple.
Birdie and Phoebe on the other hand these ladies know what's going on. They don't need a couple of old dogs telling them how to get things done. These two have it all figured out and don't mind letting you know! Can't teach an old dog new tricks they say?
What does family look like to you? To me family is friendship, security, and most of all love. I can't imagine life without dogs. I guess it wouldn't even be worth imagining. Pictured here all with their own personalities. Each of with their own wants and needs. Individually making one family complete.
Patty and Greg I want to say again thank you so much for the opportunity to photograph your dogs. May you find the paw prints forever remain on your hearts.
